As part of the research colloquium in the summer semester 2025, Prof. Dr. Massimo Nafissi will give a lecture on the topic “The Spartan Choice for Virtue. Aristocracy vs. Oligarchy”.

The talk will take place on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at 6:15 PM in Lecture Hall 406 (formerly 513), Kollegiengebäude 2040, Marstallhof 4.

Lukas Duisen introduces the EMCC degree programme

The University of Münster’s newspaper ‘wissen.leben’ published an article in which Lukas Duisen, an EMCC student, reports on the European Master in Classical Studies programme. He explains that the EMCC is worthwhile for students who want to deepen their knowledge in archaeology, philology and history.
