With the Master's Degree in "Philology, Ancient Literatures and Ancient History ", the Department of Humanities of the Roma Tre University offers a broad range of different courses on the Greco-Roman world, with significant openings to other civilizations of the Mediterranean and extended up to the Late Antiquity:

Particular attention is paid to the following research and teaching areas, which are at the intersection of multiple disciplines:

  • Greek and Latin Late Antiquity (with courses on Roman-Barbarian and Medieval Latin Literature)
  • history and forms of ancient written records (Greek and Latin Epigraphy, Papyrology and Paleography)
  • historical-religious studies, with particular attention to ancient Christianity (History, Literature, Archeology and Epigraphy, Iconography)
